We enjoy and can claim expertise in three major hobby areas, stamp collecting (philately), coin collecting (numismatics), and genealogy (ancestry research). With respect to stamp and coin collecting we can provide various assessment options and in some cases purchase or sale options. Reasonable fees on an hourly basis for appraisals.
Stamp Collecting
Some say Stamps Collecting is dying hobby, but it is not the hobby that is dying it is the collectors that are dying -- sadly I am bound to follow them as well. Once a collector dies, a stamp collection is usually left behind with no one that cares for it. But if the is someone that does care that someone probably knows little or nothing about stamp collecting or the value of the asset. They are prey to disreputable dealers and buyers. We appraise collections and offer selling or disposal advice -- but we will never make the initial offer to buy -- due to the obvious conflict of interest.
Coin Collecting
Con collecting is and ever popular hobby -- among all age groups. Yet we still find people that are not versed in the value of coins. We provide appraisal advise using a number of methods and can at times make buying offers since it hard to argue with the existing market prices. Yet there are disreputable buyers and dealers that one must be aware of.
Genealogy
Genealogy will not make you a millionaire but could make you distant noble man or woman. We often offer this as a free service because it is fun. If research is required, we do require a fee for such service provided that we are successful in the search. We have access to numerous research engines and databases that help us to find connections.
